YOUR VILLAGE NEEDS YOU!
GRASSINGTON IN BLOOM
Grassington in Bloom needs new mwmber. Age is no barrier, no gardening experience is necessary and we have a variety of jobs available.
Do you have an hour a month to spare?
We undertake light work around the village, sweeping and tidying, planting bedding in spring and summer, baking for our coffee morning and afternoon teas and general fundraising.
GARDEN COMPETITION
Entry for our garden competition is now open, to be judged on Thursday, June 8th. The gardens will be assessed by a Yorkshire in Bloom judge who has links with the village. Please share your beutiful gardens, whatever the size or shape by entering your garden in this year’s competition. There are 2 categories this year – 1. pots and container gardens and 2. cottage gardens, any size or style.
Please return the entry form on the reverse by 2nd June.
SILVER GILT AWARD 2016
Grassington in Bloom’s committee is proud to announce that once again we have gained this very high award – a credit to our village and all those who care for it. Altough this is a wonderful recognition of our hard work, Grassington in Bloom primarily want to create n environment to be proud of and a lasting legacy for the village.
